Where preloved fashion finds a second, third or forth life...
And just in case it wasn't obvious, our goal is to keep all items out of landfill and in circulation
And just in case it wasn't obvious, our goal is to keep all items out of landfill and in circulation
The Circular Studio wasn't the original plan. The goal was to launch a fashion brand that reworked clothing. TCS was an accident, that surpassed every expectation.
The business was growing rapidly, and the doom piles of clothing were matching it. No system, 1 woman and a lot of determination.
This didn't come easy. We've tried and tested a lot of different systems, our affordable second hand clothing events are unlike any other in Wales.
Our Mission & Why we're so Passionate about what we do
Our mission is to not only re-think clothing and its next stages in life, but to offer clothing for all sizes and genders. We focus on teaching positive change to re-think you're unwanted items. Our sell out events are a great way to refresh your wardrobe while clearing out items you no longer wear.
Our Events
Second hand clothing events that don't cost the earth but keep all type of clothing out of landfill and in the hands of our customers. We see all walks of life, come together to enjoy our organised events. And the best part? We've proven that those "fast fashion" items that typically don't have any value can still be reworn or re-purposed.
still not sure what the environmental impact looks like?
Here's some comparisons for perspective
These figures are rough estimations of the environmental impact the business has had.
That's roughly the same as 100 Olympic sizes swimming pools of water saved, to produce new clothing.
600 tonnes of CO₂ is approximately the same as the emissions from 600 passenger return flights between London and New York.
That's the equivalent of around 100,000 T-shirts kept in circulation rather than thrown away.
Here's how you can take action and become part of the circular revolution
90% of our stock comes from our events and is re-circulated. 10% is then sourced or reworked.
We always recommend reselling your items if you believe they are of more value. Our credit exchange events are designed for people that don't typically have the time, struggle to se these apps, and or want a guarantee their clothing is kept out of landfill.
The cost of sorting far outweighs the reselling value of lower end items. For most organisations, it's not worth the sorting costs to sort through fast fashion, or high street items because of the volume of items.
Our premium stock is curated for resale in order to help sustain the affordability of both our £1 and Fill a Bag events.
All new events can be found on our Events page, with dates, times and details. Tickets will be required for entry.
